Trained as a professional carillonist and organist, I'm pursuing musicology as a way of imbuing the making of music with meaning. I study historical keyboards, esp. carillon; music in manuscripts and early print; urban musicology; electroacoustic repertoire; music in relation to the visual arts; and campanology.
