About

I am an anthropological archaeologist with a geographical focus on Mesoamerica.  My research examines class and social identity formation among the ancient Maya and incoprates critical social theory, particulalry post-colonial feminism, marxist critques, and queer theory.  While previous work concentrated on the Classic period Maya, more recent interests include Spanish colonial and indigenious archaeologies.
