Graduate Student, History

About

I am a graduate student in the field of Late Modern Europe in the History Department at UC Berkeley. In 2008 I completed a master's degree in Archives with a certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Michigan School of Information and Museum Studies Program. My research focus is the history of sound recording and phonography, particularly among German and American ethnographers. I am a volunteer at the Hearst Museum of Anthropology at Berkeley, and a co-creator of the Virtual Museum Project to digitally exhibit the history of information technology at the University of Michigan.
